Unfolding of Matodrape by-pass set

Open the outer packaging in accordance with the principles of asepsis and place the set on the instrument table. Spread the outer drape on the instrument table and place the individual elements of the set on it.
Place the cover on the Mayo table.
Before starting to drape the patient (determination of the surgical field), pay attention to the direction in which the drape is to be unfolded with the help of the pictograms on the drape.
Raise the patient's lower limbs using the towels provided. Under the raised legs, place a drape with a crotch cover.
Spread the drape towards the bottom end of the operating table.
Put the covers on the patient's legs, firmly fixing them around the ankles.
Pass the crotch cover between the patient's thighs, ...
... remove the release paper and stick it to the lower abdomen.
Remove the release paper from the opening in the second main drape.
Stick the drape to the chest, thus defining the operating field. Then press in the place where the adhesive is applied to increase the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the patient's skin.
Unfold the sides of the drape so that they hang down freely from the operating table and unfold the upper part of the drape towards the patient's head in the direction of the arrows (towards the anaesthesia stand). Pass the drape over the frame or attach it to the racks, thus creating an anaesthesia screen.
Unfold the lower part of the drape towards the lower end of the operating table defining the operating field boundaries using two longitudinal openings.
Finally, attach the film pouches to the drape by peeling off the release paper from the adhesive layer.
