Rib bone prosthesis Codubix® RIBS & Codubix ® S RIBS

Prosthesis for extensive defects in the chest wall are knitted of polyester and polypropylene yarn. High endurance, low specific weight, zero hydrophilic fluid absorbance, non-toxicity, chemical inactivity, high degree of healing in make that the prosthesis can be identified with the natural bone as for the physical properties. They can be easily modelled during implantation and can be diagnosed without any artefacts.

Application:

  • to fill fragments of the chest wall after the treatment of primary and metastatic tumours encompassing that structure and infiltrating with non-microcellular lung tumours

Types:

  • non sterile (steam sterilisation is recommended)
  • sterile (steam sterilised)

Size and packing:

  • non sterile: 250 mm x 200 mm, 250 mm x 20 mm; packed in a PE bag and then in a box by 1 pc
  • sterile: 250 mm x 20 mm, 250 mm x 200 mm, 250 mm x 65 mm, 200 mm x 125 mm, 31 mm x 63 mm x 53 mm, 30 mm x 76 mm x 70  mm, 42 mm x 91 mm x 81 mm, 28 mm x 44 mm x 93 mm, 30 mm x 60 mm x 117 mm, 34 mm x 71 mm x 130 mm, 42 mm x 79 mm x 133 mm, 37 mm x 89 mm x 161 mm; packed in double paper-film packaging, and then in a box by 1 pc
Sterile devices are certified by the Notified Body PCBC SA and bear the CE mark with number 1434
