Accelerated healing and infection control

• resorbable dressings made of a modified polymer of natural origin – chitin, obtained from the shells of marine crustaceans
• thanks to the resorption capacity of the dressing, it does not need to be changed
• the breakdown products of the dressing in the wound together with proteins form a building material source for new cells
• regulates wound moisture and maintains a moist environment
• the silver content has an antibacterial effect (when using the Medisorb R Ag dressing)

Application:

It is intended for use in the case of chronic exudative wounds that are difficult to heal, infected and not infected, including:

• wounds due to venous insufficiency
• diabetic foot
• bedsores
• traumatic wounds
• surgical wounds
• burn wounds
• the POWDER version allows it to be used on deep wounds
