Unfolding of Matodrape hip set

Open the outer packaging in accordance with the principles of asepsis and place the set on the instrument table. Unfold the outer drape on the instrument table and place set elements on it.
Apply the Mayo table cover.
Raise the lower limb subjected to medical procedure using the supplied towels.
Apply the cover to the patient's lower limb at a height just below the hip joint.
Fix the cover using the adhesive tapes provided.
Before draping the patient (delimiting the surgical field), pay attention to the direction in which the drape is to be unfolded with the help of the pictograms.
Place a drape with a "U" cut-out under the patient's hip. Remove the release paper from the short length of adhesive tape and stick it firmly in the patient's groin. Unfold the lower part of the drape towards the lower end of the operating table, thus covering the patient's lower limbs.
Remove the remaining release papers and cover the hip towards the patient's head thus determining the lateral limits of the operating field. Press she adhered place to increase the adhesion to the patient's skin.
Remove the release paper from the top drape. Adhere the drape to avoid wrinkles and to determine the upper boarder of the surgical field.
Press the adhered area of the drape to increase the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the patient's skin. Unfold the drape in the direction of the arrows (toward the anaesthesia stand). Pass the drape over the frame, stick it to the stands, to create an anaesthesia screen.
Finally, attach a film pouch to the drape below the surgical field to allow it to accumulate dripping fluids from the surgical wound.
