• made of chlorine-free bleached cotton gauze
• edges are secured to prevent the release of threads
• have X-ray detectable thread, which is permanently placed inside the swab
• may have an additional element – cotton loop, which allows fixing the swab outside the OP-field
• can be sterilised

Application:

• for draining large amounts of body fluids during surgical procedures

• sterile and non sterile
• with X-ray detectable thread and additionally with or without a cotton loop
• number of layers: 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-ply
